Based in Hot Springs, just an hour from Little Rock, Oaklawn horse racing offers enjoyment for all the family, children are allowed in the park, but remember you must be 18 to place a bet.  Oaklawn offers the opportunity to watch thoroughbred horses in action, both live and simulcast. Programmed over 54 days, running from January through to April, you have the opportunity to watch races such as Fair Grounds, Gulfstream Park, Santa Anita, Aqueduct, Turfway Park, Laurel and many more.

With simulcast, you can place bets and watch races from across the nation via live satellite. Gates open about half an hour before the first post time on simulcast only days. On live racing days, the gates are usually opened at 11:00am.
